Jiangxi Isuzu Automobile Co., Ltd., established in April 2013, is a strategic investment project of Isuzu in China with a total investment of 4.402 billion yuan (including 1.718 billion yuan of engine company), which is funded by 50% of Jiangling group and Isuzu in Japan. Jiangxi Isuzu Automobile Co., Ltd. plans to have a production capacity of 100000 sets. The product line covers the latest Isuzu brand pickup trucks and SUVs, and the product styles will keep pace with the world.

Isuzu is one of the largest and oldest commercial vehicle manufacturers in the world. Founded in 1916, Isuzu is famous for producing commercial vehicles and diesel internal combustion engines. The output of commercial vehicles and diesel engines ranks among the top in the world.

Isuzu is one of the first Japanese automobile manufacturers to enter the Chinese market. In 1985, it began to produce light commercial vehicles in China through technical and trade cooperation with the Chinese government, setting a milestone for China’s high-end light commercial vehicles.

Jiangling group（JMCG）

Jiangling group was founded in 1947 and grew up on the Bank of Ganjiang River. It is China’s automobile export base and one of the largest exporters of light diesel commercial vehicles. It ranks 88th among China’s top 500 manufacturing enterprises in 2018 and 205th among China’s top 500 enterprises. In 2017, Jiangling group achieved 438000 vehicle sales and an operating revenue of 80.6 billion yuan.

Jiangling group has six vehicle manufacturing bases (Qingyunpu base, Xiaolan base, Changbei base, Wangcheng base, Fuzhou base and Taiyuan base). The vehicle products cover commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, special vehicles and new energy vehicles. It has JMC series, Ford series, Lufeng series, Yusheng series, Isuzu series, Jingma series, Qiling series Pure electric vehicle series and other automobile brands also have the ability of independent R & D and manufacturing of six assemblies such as automobile engine, gearbox, body, frame, front axle and rear axle, forming the core ability of integrating digital platform, engine design, vehicle design, modeling design and experimental development, and building a national enterprise technology center and postdoctoral research workstation. In addition to covering complete vehicles and auto parts, Jiangling group is also widely involved in auto import and export, auto finance, auto recycling and disassembly, auto engine remanufacturing, engineering machinery, logistics, real estate and other fields.
